1997: Saïd Assadi, a close collaborator with major artists of world music (Ravi Shankar, Yehudi Menuhin, Miriam Makeba), establishes Accords Croisés. The organisation's aim? To promote world music artists. As such, Accords Croisés starts out by producing concerts and organizing tours.
2003: He creates the record label Accords Croisés (Vox Populi) as a new avenue to keep signed artists topical and further support the development of their tours and live performances.
2008: He creates the festival Au Fil des Voix. An annual meeting of world musics there are two main editions, one in Paris and the other in Vaison-la-Romaine (in the commune of Vaucluse). But there is also a touring edition that visits other cities and towns. The festival's objective is to support contemporary musical creation and its dissemination. Thanks to this  pooling of resources, the annual Au Fil des Voix festival offers new artists even better visibility, while also bringing together record labels and booking agents as well as invited industry professionals (journalists, tour programmers, etc).
Saïd Assadi is also involved in several interventions to strengthen the visibility and structuring of the world music sector in France.
