On the 4th of July 2011 he created Little Bros with his brother Matthieu Petit. Gilles petit is the agent for Laurent Ruquier and Little Bros, produces the new Franck Dubosc show « A l'Etat Sauvage », as well as Arnaud Ducret, Blond and Blond and Blond, and the stage version of « On n'Demande qu'à En Rire ».
Gilles Petit is a Performing arts producer and has promoted the careers of numerous artists over the last 20 years.
After joining the group Juste pour rire (Just for laughs) in 1993, he became the CEO of Juste for rire (France) from 1995 to 2011.
Over the years he has produced shows of Michel Courtemanche, Laurent Ruquier, Christophe Alevêque, Franck Dubosc, Arturo Brachetti, Florence Foresti, Jean-Luc Lemoine, Stéphane Rousseau just to name a few and theatrical performances from Laurent Ruquier, Jean-Luc Lemoine and Philippe Lellouche.
He was also executive producer for Philippe Lellouche's first film « Nos Plus Belles Vacances » which was released in April 2012. From 2006 to 2009 he produced the Just pour rire Festival for Nantes Atlantique. He has also produced the latest performances of Charles Trenet and the French tour of Robert Charlebois as well as the musical « CHICAGO » performed in french for the first time (adapted by the Laurent Ruquier) at the Casino de Paris. 

In 1998, he produced the must see performance at the 1998 World exposition in Lisbon - « Océans & Utopies » written and directed by Philippe Genty and François Confino; 430 shows  over 3 million spectators.
From 1990 to 1993, he was Administrator for the Palais des Glaces in the   10th district of Paris.
